Cuitzeo, Magic town: Cuitzeo del Porvenir is placed a little more than 30 kilometers from Morelia, the capital of the state of Michoacán. Of moderate climate, the town is located on the bank of the lake of Cuitzeo, the most common thing is the scenery of the morning fishing performs. GASTRONOMY: A wide variety of traditional cuisine they have given notable presence to Cuitzeo, the turkey with thick chile sauce(mole de guajolote) is savoured with corn omelettes (tortillas de maiz), “ corundas”,” tamales”,” uchepos”, fried maize (esquites), between others. There are famous the small fishes that are caught in the lake, prepared of diverse forms, ingredient emphasized from the typical kitchen of the village.
